The Space

This is a big, functional cabin for a big group. Three levels, four bathrooms, and enough parking for the whole caravan, in a quiet hillside neighborhood above Lead with views across the Black Hills and the Homestake Mine.

Main floor
The heart of the house. A spacious kitchen with black stainless appliances, a large double sink, island seating, and a walk-in pantry, opening through glass doors to the back patio. The dining room seats a crowd at one table, and tall windows through the main level pull in the light and the view. There's a queen bedroom with its own full bath and a walk-in tiled shower, plus a bunk room with a queen over a queen. The hall bathroom has a tub-shower combo, and a full washer and dryer set is on this floor.

Upstairs
Two queen bedrooms, each with a TV, and each with a small enclosed nook tucked behind the closet, separated by a sliding barn door. One nook holds a twin, the other a twin and a full plus its own TV. Kids claim these instantly. One queen has an en suite; a full bath with a tin ceiling and a large vanity is reachable from the hallway or the second queen.

Basement
The hangout floor. A living room with two queen futons, a solid wood bar, and a foosball table, with sliding glass doors opening straight to two parking spots. There's a full bathroom, a second laundry (2-in-1 washer/dryer), and a playroom stocked with toys, games, books, and cards for the younger crowd.

Outside

The back patio is where the day ends. A hot tub looks straight out at the Homestake Mine, with outdoor seating and a propane firepit alongside. A BBQ grill sits near the front door. Parking is genuinely uncommon for a group house: 2 to 4 in the driveway, 2 on the street, and a private lot by the back patio for 3 to 4 more, including trucks and trailers.

The neighborhood & getting around
You're in a quiet hillside neighborhood near the Open Cut, with Deadwood 3 miles away, Terry Peak 6, 4x4 trails 4, and Spearfish Canyon 9. Mount Rushmore is about 49 miles, Crazy Horse 53, and Devils Tower 77, so the whole region is in reach for day trips.
